4th day I feel lighter

I’m only on the 4th day of this cleanse so I can’t give a totally accurate review yet but I think I feel better and I feel lighter and less tired with less cravings. I was feeling really crappy lately, gained weight and in pain after knee surgery, tired, I have just felt toxic so I figure why not give detoxing a try. The first day of the cleanse I felt really bloated and tingly, I think from the increased intake of water but surprisingly since that day I have felt lighter and less weighed down and bloated than before the cleanse. I also noticed that my cravings have changed for healthier foods and that when I do eat something unhealthy I don’t feel the need to finish it, maybe this is an added benefit of the fiber? My stools have been effortless and are not runny at all which was a concern of mine about taking the laxative. The one downside is that it causes really smelly gas for me, luckily I don’t work in an office or this would not be good! Honestly, I have only tried incorporating more raw vegetables into my diet but I have not completely stuck to the instructions of mostly vegetarian and no dairy, I think that if I do the results will be even better. I look forward to seeing how I will feel at the two week mark.
Finished the cleanse. Yes I would tell others to take it! I felt lighter on this cleanse, I think I lost weight but did not weigh myself. My clothes fit better. It did not cause any runny stools which is good. The gas went away sometime in the first week. I did stop taking the laxative at some point because I felt like it could be causing some side effects but I wasn’t 100% sure. My mood improved and I felt more motivated. I also have been eating less since going on this cleanse I feel full faster and do not crave as much junk food. I liked the concept so much that I will continue with a fiber supplement regularly.
From many choices, this detox was a thumbs up!

I researched many products before I selected this Whole Body Cleanse. There are soooo many products for detoxing the colon and other systems of the body, the information was a little overwhelming! After looking at reviews and pricing, I chose this product. I would highly recommend this detox kit to anyone who is experiencing stomach issues or just wants to gain some health benefits. The kit was packaged nicely, so there was no guesswork. The instructions were clear (in a booklet in the box and on the side of the box) There were several pills to take, so I would recommend looking at the instructions each time before taking the pills. The best part of the detox was, that I was able to really examine the foods I ate, the reasons why I was eating and I was able to make a lasting (hopefully) change to my diet. My stomach pains and bloating went away and I felt like I had a ton of energy! I did stick to the recommended diet of no red meat, peanuts, soy, alcohol, caffeniene, minimal wheat, dairy ect… One thing I would suggest is weaning yourself off of caffiene before you use the product to reduce the withdrawl effects. Lastly, I felt the detox was very gentle and never had cramping or felt the need to rush to the restroom. I plan to use this product at least twice a year and would recommend it to anyone!

Yeah I was really hoping for a really hardcore cleanse but I didnt find it here the only reason I new I was on the cleanse was the countless amount of pills u have to take everyday I know it prolly has a different effect on everyone but for me it did nothing even flowing all the food recommendations for the cleanse

Here is the truth….
IT IS GREAT!!!!! Unlike some cleansers, there is nothing nasty tasting. As long as you stay committed to taking the pills, as the instructions say, you will reap the benefits. Although this is not a weight loss product, I lost about 5 pounds the first week and 7 pounds the second week. No, I did not purposely put myself on a diet. For some magical reason, the cravings for sugary foods and foods with high carbs disappeared. I found myself craving more water, fresh fruit, and vegetables. Expect a lot of movement of your bowels, especially after the 3rd day, but you will feel cleaner and lighter after using the restroom. And the best part about going to restroom while on this product is that you will not have to strain. The bowels pass through gently and effortlessly, but not like diarrhea. Overall, I had more energy, which comes in handy when exercising. My hair grew faster and my skin was glowing.
I will definitely make this a regular part of my life, by doing this cleanse every 3-4 weeks. This is good stuff! Go ahead and get it!!

i have used this product a couple times, and each time i follow the instructions on what to take, and drink TONS of water. it makes you go to the bathroom like you wouldn’t believe. i also lost weight from using it. i think i lost about 5 lbs in a week or so. i am not overweight either. my normal weight is around 120 ish. it is hard to stick to the diet and going to the bathroom so much can be annoying, but it definitely works. i think it’s very important that you drink a lot of water in between meals, because if you don’t, the fiber makes you blocked up.

This is my favorite cleanser. It works gently, without any harsh laxative effects. I don’t think it causes weight loss, as some reviewers suggest, unless you change your eating habits while using the cleanse. Because I was getting the toxins cleansed from my body, I did notice that I felt lighter and I had less cravings for foods I was eating pre-cleanse. You won’t be disappointed with this product as long as you have reasonable expectations.

I feel as though I am using a different product than other reviewers! I got this product from Whole foods for about $21.99
It requires swallowing of 4 pills at night as well as a glass of a lemon-flavored powdery mix. You can mix it with anything according to the instructions. I use either water or OJ. This is the first week. The second week, you are down to 3 pills as well as the powdery mix.
3 of the capsules are huge and not easy to swallow. The powdery mix does not taste bad, but it is not very soluble in liquid.
Now I was expecting this product to help me with my `pooch’ and constipation. It did not. I felt only a slight discomfort (very very slight) for a period of maybe 1-2 hours, but other than that, I did not notice any effects.
I have only been using it for 6 days – so I may be jumping the gun here, but still, I expected some kind of difference. But nothing is happening!
I will continue to use it, just for the sake of completing it. However, I do not think it works. I also wish I knew that it had `milk thistle’.
Side effects of milk thistle:
- Indigestion
- Headache
- Itching
- May inhibit oral contraceptives
- Estrogen-like effects
- If allergic to daisies, artichokes, kiwi or other plants in the aster family do not take this.
- Can cause gas, diarrhea, joint pain and heartburn.
I would definitely not recommend this cleanser.

It’s a season of fasting favor, so I had already been broken of my sweets addiction for the first week of July.
So July 8 – July 21, 2008 I was enabled by Jesus to eat no sweets, no meats and no breads — the Daniel fast described in the Bible, the exact way they say you should eat on the Whole Body Cleanse.
Thank God I didn’t get sick at all, and no bad bowel movements like other folks have described.
I ate salads and beans and nuts (even though they say not to many peanuts) — I ate cashews and stuff.
Oh yeah, and I didn’t like swallowing the pills, especially the capsules — which seemed to float up in my throat.
So the Most High told me to just open the capsule contents into a small cup of orange juice — so I still got all the fiber and everything. I even used pieces of fruit like watermelon or cantaloupe to swab the fiber powder residue in the sides of my cup.
It was fine…
And I took the laxative natural supplements down just fine — those were easier to swallow.
So if you’re hesitating on buying this because of other comments, fret not, if you feel God has led you to do this.

Great Product…

The product shipped one day before the estimated delivery date and it was in good shape.
I used this cleanse back in January 2008, and it made me feel so good. Lots of energy and I lost 8 pounds in 14 days. Can you imagine…losing eight pounds from a cleanse sounds disgusting, but obviously my body needed it. But please DO NOT use this product simply to lose weight. That is unhealthy and it may not work. In order for a cleanse to work, your body needs to get rid of toxins and waste-NOT WEIGHT.
The product recommends you cleanse up to 4 times per year and I might just start doing that. Not only can you feel the difference once you use the product, you can feel the difference when your body needs to be cleansed again. Just listen to your body.
Oh, and it clears up your skin if you have any pimples or blemishes!!!
The only downside: if you are headache-prone or hormonal (women), you may get headaches for the first 3-4 days as your body gets used to the product…however, this time around (July 2008), I am happy to report, NO HEADACHES!!! So I guess my body recognizes the product and is ready for it.
Overall, this is a great product and it works really well if you follow ALL instructions on schedule. [P.S. it really kicks in around day 4]

I was not impressed with this product. I followed the instructions to a tee, including cutting back on the laxative when I started to get horrible stomach cramping. The cramping did not stop at all.
Also, the fiber capsules had a horrible plastic taste to it. Capsules are not supposed to taste like the plastic capsules, but they did.

This detox program didn’t work as good as another one I tried by Michael’s Naturopathic Programs. In my opinion Michael’s detox kit is better. I’ve lost 6lbs doing the two week detox and my stomach went down in size. You must follow the directions to get maxiumum results. If your are disappointed in this one like I was give Michael’s detox kit a try. They sell it here at Amazon.
Not sure how effective, but nastiest pills to swallow

I’m on my 2nd week, and the Laxative pills are killing me. They are just TOO BIG TO SWALLOW, and have the nastiest flavor. I really would not think that that is so important when this is doing something good for my body, but after 1 week of gagging on that particular pill….I JUST CAN’T TAKE IT ANYMORE!!! Each time, is suffering!! The other 2 pills aren’t as big, and aren’t as bad tasting. I don’t have problems swallowing those. As for the effect it’s had….I have diarrhea poop every day…now every other day…and I don’t know if it’s working the best way. I probably should have watched my diet better also. Overall, I will not try this one ever again. That particular pill is disgusting. They should have a way to create something easier to swallow, and not as nasty tasting. It may not seem like a big deal, but after a week of this…no more!

I started doing the cleansing. No laxative effect for me, in fact the opposite. Couldn’t go for days, just severe smelly gas and constipation. So, I stopped the fiber. My sister had a similar experience of being blocked by fiber pills as well.

This is my 3rd day on whole body cleanse. I started it with a friend who swears by it every 4 months. As a dancer I feel better moving around, though my energy depleats faster than normal which is mentioned in the directions. I have actually started going to sleep at more reasonable hours, when I usually stay up till 4am. With the added water to my diet, I have stopped snacking all day and into the night.
Movements have also been a lot easier to pass. This kit could be helpfull to those who usually have to sit on the toilet for long periods of time to have a movement. Mine have been quick and efficient.
For those who found the laxitives too strong (I actually dont find a difference in my body while taking them..) its advised to cut the dose in half. Your body may just find laxitives, even low level and herbal, too strong, Which is also clearly printed in the directions. No need to rate the product low because your body doesnt go well with it…
And for those who ordered and found the product damaged: Thats part of ordering pills online. If you have a health food store near you, you should be able to find this product.

I love this cleanse because it is very affordable and it works. No cramping or abdomintal pain at all. I feel very much clean when this is over! I do it just about every 4 months to stay regular and feeling clean. The only thing I will say is that for the 1st week you need to have a bathroom available all day. You won’t have the runs or anything at all, but you will need to go!
I have recommended it to a lot of family and friends, and they have all really liked it.
