India's biggest and oldest Hindu nationalist group recently announced plans to market a new soft drink made from cow urine. Boy, some leads just write themselves. But really, I'm not making this up. The Cow Protection Department of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh believes the drink will help cleanse India of foreign influence.

Well..after the $10 laptop debacle , comes another great innovation from India – Soft drink made from cow urine. And the ‘inventors’ this time aren’t from IISC or the IITs, but RSS (yeah, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh)! “..the drink – called “gau jal”, or “cow water” – in Sanskrit was undergoing laboratory tests and would be launched “very soon, maybe by the end of this year”. “Don’t worry, it won’t smell like urine and will be tasty too,..Its USP will be that it’s going to be very healthy.
